Your Trust Will Save You, Mark 5: 21-43
Trust is an integral ingredient of daily life. Oftentimes, we take it for granted. Every time we cross the street as pedestrians, we trust that upcoming car drivers will stop to let us pass. When we go to the grocery store, we trust that we will find all we need to cook our next meal. Whenever we put a letter into the mailbox, we trust that the mail carrier will deliver it. So much of our daily life is based on trust. In extreme situations like during the Covid-19 pandemic, daily life fails, and our trust is diminished. We feel very fragile and insecure when the streets and the stores are empty. Suddenly we are aware of how difficult and even dangerous daily life actually is.
When trust breaks down, how do we restore it? This Sunday, we will imagine ourselves into the shoes of a woman Jesus healed and learn from her experience. Please come, listen, and grow! We meet at 10 AM at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 735 Front Street S in Issaquah, and on YouTube.
