Luke 17:11-19, Gratitude
Compassion, gratitude, and generosity are seen by many as the three marks of a joyful and purposeful life. Today’s bible story is about gratitude. It introduces 10 people with severe skin conditions who are healed by Jesus. But only one of them takes the time to thank Jesus for his healing. Do you know people who take blessings for granted? Are you one of them? I think all people sometimes take things for granted. I certainly do. How can we grow our gratitude? This is especially important now as the church enters into a time of self-reflection and visioning.
