Pentecost Changes Everything
Imagine living in a world where the gods only cared about the rich, powerful, and connected. Then suddenly someone steps forward and says: “No. God knows you. God hears you. God loves you.”
On Pentecost, frightened fishermen hiding in fear become bold proclaimers of hope. The Holy Spirit does not descend on emperors, generals, or the wealthy—but on ordinary people. The Spirit still has a habit of unsettling the powerful, uplifting the forgotten, and reminding us that God’s love belongs to everyone.
