10:00 am Worship
We welcome you to worship this Sunday, either in-person at Our Savior Lutheran Church (745 Front St. S in Issaquah), or on YouTube.
On Sunday, September 6, Pr. Kristin-Luana is the presider, and Pr. Olaf is the preacher.
Here is the Sermon News:
Galatians 1–2:14: What if being a good Christian isn’t what saves us?
Paul was furious. Other missionaries had arrived in Galatia telling his converts that faith in Christ wasn’t enough. They also had to obey the religious rules like food laws and be circumcised. Paul’s answer was explosive: If righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.
This Sunday, we begin Galatians and explore one of the central insights of the Lutheran faith, the difference between Law and Gospel—and why grace really means grace.
