May 4, 2025, John 21:1-19: “What Comes Next?”
In our Gospel story today, Peter and the disciples struggle with change. They witnessed the resurrection of Christ and that changed them.
They don’t know yet what their new lives look like, so they go back to Galilee and go fishing. They go back to their old lives. They try to pick up where they have left off, but their old lives do not work anymore. They are not fishermen anymore. Who are they now?

11:00 am Meet Your Neighbors at Coffee & Fellowship Hour
Join us for our third “Meet Your Neighbor” gathering during the Coffee and Fellowship Hour after church services. You will be seated at tables with folks who live near you so you can learn who your neighbors are, get to know each other better, and perhaps decide to get together more frequently on your own. Feedback from the first two meetings was positive, and some groups have already decided to meet on their own as another way to foster friendships and share their faith.
