For forty days leading up to Holy Week and Easter (not counting Sundays), the Church engages in the Season of Lent. “Lent” means springtime, and for all Christians, this is a time to prepare the spiritual soil of their lives and get ready for future growth. Even more specifically, it is a time to ask questions about what it means to be called a follower of Jesus Christ. Our theme at OSLC this Lenten Season is taken from Jesus’ words in Luke 20:9 when he asks his disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” On Sunday mornings (8:30 & 11:00 AM) and Wednesday evenings (7:00 PM), you are invited to join us in worship. You can download a flyer with the information about our Wednesday evening guest preachers by clicking on this link.
