Wandering and Wondering with God

Registration is now open for our annual retreat! Our speakers, Jean Wahlstrom and Pr. Jane Prestbye, have this to say about their topic:

“Wandering and wondering is the essence of pilgrimage and pilgrimage is a fitting metaphor of one’s whole life journey with God. Not everyone can go on physical pilgrimage, but everyone can have the mind of the nomad disciple. Pilgrimage involves doing something with whatever faith you have, and faith like muscle likes being worked. We will explore Christian pilgrimage as a faith walk with Jesus.

Thus says the Lord: Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way lies; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.’” – Jeremiah 6:16a

While they were talking and discussing, Jesus himself came near and went with them….’” – Luke 24:15
