John 12: 20-33 Seed that in Earth is Dying
Mortality is an essential part, the essential part of being alive. The moment we are born, we start to age. We know that death will be at the end of our time on earth. And yet, in our busy lives, we push death aside. We don’t want to deal with it. We cling to passions and possessions, pleasures and pastimes. We avoid the sick, the sad, the serious, and the scary. We act as if we will be here forever. But whatever we do or don’t do, at the end of our lives will be death. It is the most normal thing. How do we accept death and open the door to a fuller, truer life?
