What does true victory look like?
Not a warhorse charging through city gates.
Not banners of empire or displays of force.
Not the silence of conquered enemies.
On Palm Sunday, Jesus enters Jerusalem not like a conqueror, but like a servant—riding a humble donkey, mocking the very idea of power as the world understands it. While Rome promises peace through strength and domination—the quiet peace of the graveyard—Jesus offers a different kind of victory: one born through humility, suffering, and resurrection.
Maybe we should reconsider everything we know about power, triumph, and success. The cross looked like defeat—until Easter proved otherwise.
