In Home Worship – Sunday, August 2, 2026 – Tenth Sunday after Pentecost

10:00 am Worship

We welcome you to worship this Sunday!

On Sunday, August 2, Pr. Kristin-Luana is the presider, and Pr. Olaf is the preacher.

Here is the Sermon News:

Can We Imagine a World Where Everyone Has Enough?

In the story of the feeding of the five thousand, the disciples see only scarcity: too many mouths, too little bread, impossible odds. Jesus sees something else. He dares to imagine abundance where everyone else sees limits.

This Sunday, we will explore how 19th century assumptions about scarcity still shape our politics, our economics, and even our faith.

Join us on Sunday, 10 AM, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 745 Front St. S in Issaquah, and on YouTube as we ask:

Is the kingdom of God built on competition and fear, or on Jesus’ imagination that there can be a world where there is enough for all? Are we able to trust Jesus’ imagination?

– Pr. Olaf
